Return Policy

Standard Returns 

Basic Policy: Butch Basix has a 30 Day Return Policy (excluding exempt items – see below). This policy lasts 30 days from the date your order shipped, though we do make exceptions for Holiday purchases. We understand that gift purchases are often opened late in the Returns Policy window.

Eligibility: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged or returned incomplete will not be eligible for a refund.

Exempt Items: For health and safety reasons, Personal Care items are not returnable. If you have an issue with a product you purchased from the Personal Care category, email us so we can discuss your concern and help find an agreeable solution other than returning the product for a refund.

Details: We do not refund the original shipping charge for non-defective returns. Nor do we pay for the Return postage on non-defective items. As Butch Basix increases its order volume, revenue and customer following, we intend to revisit the details of this policy in the future so that we can improve the customer experience at every stage of our engagement with you. But for now, we’re sticking with the boring standard.

Returns Instructions:

      1. To complete your return, please request a Return Authorization Number via email. Don’t be scared - we’re not going to make you explain yourself to get the authorization. We simply want to make sure you have our return instructions, the correct return address, etc., and that we have a number in the system that corresponds to your pending return shipment. With this RA#, returns and refund processing goes more smoothly for everyone.
      2. Once you make the Return Authorization request, we will send you the Return Address along with return instructions, which will include things like:
        • Please repack your order in the original boxes and packaging.
        • Enclose the original packing slip with the returned package. If you no longer have the original packing list, please write down your name, order number and the reason for your return on a separate piece of paper and include this with your return. Please remove all old labels on box or cover them up.
        • Ship the item(s) you are returning from your local USPS, UPS or Mail Boxes, etc store.
        • Send the package back to Butch Basix. The return address will be provided with your return authorization.
        • If you are shipping an item over $75, we recommend you use a trackable shipping service like UPS Ground, USPS Priority and the like or purchasing shipping insurance.
      3. Once we receive your return, we will notify you by email. If the item is eligible for a refund, a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment for the amount of the order, less the cost of the original shipping. Please do NOT send your credit card information with the return. If we do not have it on file, we will contact you for the card number. Returns can take 2-3 weeks to be processed.

    Defective Claims/Returns

    Basic Warranty Policy: Butch Basix offers a 30 Day Warranty Policy for defective items. This policy lasts 30 days from the date your order shipped. We are not able to issue refunds on damages that are not a result of a manufacture’s defect.

    Eligibility: To be eligible for a return under warranty, we will inspect the item for the manufacture defect reported on the Return Authorization. If we conclude that the item is defective, you will receive a full credit for the original order, or a replacement will be sent in its place.

    Warranty Details: We will refund the original shipping charge for defective returns as well as the purchase price of the item plus sales (if tax due). We will also pay for the Return Postage on defective items (Return Authorization required to receive Return Label).

    Return Instructions for Defective Items:

      1. To complete your return, please request a Return Authorization Number via email. Please let us know your name and order number along with a description of the defect. Please also let us know if you would like a credit when we receive your item or if you want to do an exchange.
      2. Once you make the Return Authorization request for a defective item, we will send you our return address along with a pre-paid return label via email as well as return instructions, which will include things like:
        • Please write down your name, order number, a description of the defect and include this with your return.
        • Print out and attach the pre-paid return postage label to your package (you will receive this via email).
        • Ship the item(s) you are returning from your local USPS Post Office.
        • Send the package back to Butch Basix. The return address will be provided with your return authorization.
      1. Once we receive your return and we deem the item eligible for a warranty refund, we will issue you a credit for the full amount of the order which includes the cost of the original shipping. Please do NOT send your credit card information with the return. If we do not have it on file, we will contact you for the card number. Returns can take 2-3 weeks to be processed.
